Description: The start of the 1920s was a difficult time following the devastation of the First World War and the influenza outbreak of 1919. Housing was in short supply and so was employment. In this course we will look at how all ages and classes of people coped with change. We will also look at the headline news of the decade, and the developments in transport and technology.

This course is now fully subscribed.
