| Description: | This first of a two-part overland adventure, from Xian in China to Venice, will follow the Silk Road across to the tribal market at Kashgar, before turning south to Pakistan, the Indus Gorge, Taxila and Islamabad. Given time we will also visit Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. |
The course is visually based, using materials gathered from my time as a Tour Leader and traveller in these areas. Aspects will include history, architecture, art, religion, geography and local customs.
