| Description: | Part One of this course covered China from East to West, and Northern Pakistan. We will now visit Uzbekistan and routes through Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Turkey to Istanbul, before finishing at Marco Polo's Venice. |
The course will be visually based, using materials gathered over years of residence and travel in the areas. Many aspects of local cultures will be covered, including history, architecture, art, religion, geography and local customs.
