| Description: | Gertrude Jekyll artist, craftswoman, revered garden designer and her working partnership with Edwin Lutyens produced some of the most characterful of Edwardian houses and gardens. |
Lutyens is frequently considered our best English architect since Sir Christopher Wren. The course will illustrate some of the commissions they undertook together. Also the enormous catalogue of Lutyens work such as Lindisfarne Castle, Castle Drogo, The Cenotaph and his many WW1 cemeteries in Northern France. Lots of illustrations.
This course is now fully subscribed.
