| Description: | Vedic recitation has been performed in India every day for thousands of years. In this session, we will investigate the history, structure and theory of the Vedic rituals – and their relationship to the philosophy of karma. We will then devote time to actual practice, learning how to recite short excerpts from the traditional Vedic texts. |
No previous knowledge of Sanskrit is assumed. Copies of all relevant materials will be provided.
