| Description: | The ‘Greek style’ of art emphasised the glory of God and his saints. Gothic painting from about 1250 brought ‘faith’ down to earth. I shall be looking at how painters helped to promote faith and devotion through their individual response and portrayal of events in the life of Christ, his mother and his saints.Emails sent on Tuesdays. You don't have to leave your home. Just need a smart iphone, tablet or laptop computer. |
