| Description: | This is a long-established group who love hearing Dickens read aloud whether by themselves or others. No one is obliged to read if they would prefer just to listen, but there is of course some discussion of what we are reading. |
We will be reading Dickens's last completed novel "Our Mutual Friend" (Penguin Classics edited by Adrian Poole) and assessing the differences from his first novel ("Pickwick Papers") which we read together last year (2026).
