| Description: | ‘A poem is a speaking picture; a picture is a silent poem’. This is a repeat of last year’s course, when each week we will look at twelve pictures that inspired poems or relate to poems. We will consider people, history, nature, books/writing, children, places, landscape, literature, experience/philosophy, portraits. Members will be able to familiarise themselves with the poetry which will be emailed to them a week in advance. This should be brought each week by members as we will read the poems/verses aloud in turn. |
BOOKING for 2026-2027 courses via our bookings website (member login required) opens on 2nd July 2026.
