Description: In Julius Caesar (1599), Shakespeare dramatises the world’s most famous political assassination. As the conspiracy, the killing and its bloody aftermath unfold, Shakespeare explores the themes of Politics versus Power, Honour versus Personal Gain, Manipulation and Rhetoric. In As You Like It (1599), Shakespeare introduces his most delightful comic heroine, the witty and resourceful Rosalind. Escaping the cloistered life of the Court to the forest of Arden, Rosalind embraces the rustic life and the challenges of male disguise to secure the husband of her choice.

You will need a copy of both plays.
