This page is for members who are offering (or proposing to offer) courses or sessions for our u3a Main Programme and Winter Extra Programme which runs from early autumn until early summer. Please read the advice and instructions before completing the Course Proposal Form which is linked at the bottom of the page.
Summer Courses are handled differently. All summer courses are advertised in the Bulletin by the tutors and they directly handle applications. There are no fees for these. Also, no need for the proposal form. Summer courses are a good way of doing something differently, such as outdoor activities, or for doing a trial course to test the waters.
We offer regular Potential Course Leader workshops to assist you in your course/activity preparation where you will be supported by subject coordinators and committee members. Please read Guidelines for Tutors to help you prepare and manage your expectations.
Advice on choosing your dates.
PLEASE
Try to avoid offering activities on 2nd Wednesday afternoons in the month, as this is a time used for the monthly talks programme.
Please specify the dates of all meetings if the meetings are irregular.
Finally, many thanks for offering a course/courses and or sessions for our U3A main programme.
