Our first visit of 2026 is on on Monday 20th April to NGS (National Garden Scheme) gardens at Churchfield and neighbouring West Court Lodge

Meet for 2pm at the venue with £12 in cash per person to include two gardens, each with distinct character, and excellent refreshments.

Churchfield is "at the base of the Downs, springs rising in this garden form the source of the East Stour. Two large ponds are home to wildfowl and fish and the banks have been planted with drifts of primula, large leaved herbaceous bamboo and ferns. The rest of the five acre garden is a Kent cobnut platt and vegetable garden, large grass areas and naturally planted borders and woodland."

West Court Lodge is "south facing one acre walled garden at the foot of the North Downs, designed in two parts: main lawn with large sunny borders and a romantic woodland glade planted with shadow loving plants and spring bulbs, small wildlife pond."
