| Description: | This course is aimed at anyone interested in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. The Pardoner's Tale even today retains its power to shock with its portrayal of corruption and vitality. We will read four extracts in the original language (with suitable guiding and a parallel 'translation' provided!) to see how brilliantly Chaucer entertains and educates us. |
