| Description: | Emily Bronte - widely regarded as a genius on the strength of her poems and her one novel. This was published a year before she died of consumption, aged thirty. The book takes us into a world of heightened emotion and rough, sometimes violent, relationships mirrored in the harsh moorland landscape. I will provide a few sample poems as introduction. You will need a copy of the book. I suggest the Penguin Popular Classic, but if you already have another edition we can manage. |
