Description: This pivotal battle ran from July to October 1940, and is the only battle ever to have been fought entirely in the air. Britain and its empire and commonwealth stood alone against Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. Had we lost; the outcome of world history would have been very different. This talk will cover tactics, the aircraft on both sides, and significant individuals involved, and will explain the reasons why, despite massive odds against them, the RAF won.

Steve Tindall served for 30 years in the RAF, including a tour of duty on the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF).
