| Description: | The title is the question, Why does it look like that? This is a course where the language of artists and the work they produce are central. These sessions will focus on the twentieth century to the present day. This part looks at the turn of the century and the great changes through psychology, wealth distribution, and the huge upheavals of major wars and dramatic changes in society, along with a wider understanding of far distant parts of the world during the 20th century. Discussion and questions are encouraged and are, in fact, essential. |
